Scarletta Leaf - Graal

A scarlaetta leaf illustration trapped under a thick casing of clear glass on a rich transparent red core.

The image is created by scratching through white enamel applied to a glass blank which is then brought back into the studio and dipped in the furnace, permanently trapping the image between layers of glass.
