Digital Landscape
A bold Landscape drawing encapsulated beneth clear glass. These objects are created using the traditional Graal technique – a process that spans many days in its creation.
First a blank is made from black glass, cooled and painted by hand using a high temperature firing Enamel. The form is then carefully reheated and dipped into a pot of glass at 1040 degrees Celsius, trapping the painting beneath a layer of clear glass. This is then blown and shaped to the final form.
